December 22nd, 2009

Volcom’s Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins McTwisted all up in Paris for Quiksilver’s Tony Hawk Show. She’s the first chick to spin the 540, and for that she probably deserves at least a few cookies. Tony Hawk spun a 900, but that’s been done, so who cares right? This s$#t is mounmental! Forget the Birdman, we got the Birdwoman!

Daniel Davies of Year Long Disaster rocked PacSun HQ the other day. Volcom, being the kid gentlemen and gentlewomen they are, provided silkscreens and blank t-shirts for everyone to get crazy with. Ever wanted a super custom Volcom tee? Well, you missed your chance — hopefully they’ll do something similar again. Everybody who’s anybody, and anybody who’s nobody’s talking about this new skate video that’s been five years in the making – Flip Skateboards’ Extremely Sorry. Probably more discussed than Geoff Rowley’s long-awaited part full of bangers, though, is the  DJ Baron-produced-soundtrack. Baron supplied an unexpected aural assault of beats, remixes, and covers (featuring Lemmy from Motorhead and Dave Lombardo from Slayer). We’ve asked him some questions about the soundtrack available through Volcom Entertainment.

Wild In The Parks / American Fork UT / Stop 1

Volcom is getting wild in some parks. The first place they are going to get park wild on is stop one, American Fork, Utah. Now you could ask us were the hell is Utah and we could answer. Ask us where American Fork is and we would be dumbfounded. But that doesn’t matter right now. What does matter is you sitting back and enjoying stop one of Wild in the Parks by Volcom. Grab yourself an Arnold Palmer, you deserve it, looks like you had a long day, sweet cheek.
