Google announced its new phone called the Nexus One. The photo above, unfortunately, is not of the Nexus One.
Useless USB Devices

With winter approaching, things are gonna get downright chilly. This means that inventors who have either had too much time on their hands, or who maybe have less brain cells than we, are coming up with all sorts of products to help the human race finally defeat cold weather. Well we’re in luck this year. Find out why here.
Scale Fail
November 13th, 2009

Social networking, WiFi computing, and iPhone applications are taking over the world, and we’re the ones who suffer; companies throw wacky innovations at us a mile a minute – maybe even 5 miles a minute. Here’s the latest from people with too much time on their hands and a knack for ridiculous products: a WiFi scale that automatically tweets.
REJOICE! aStory Issue 03!
November 4th, 2009
Congratulations! You’ve stumbled upon something amazingly valuable – aStory Issue 03, the Holiday Issue. The new mag is finally here, so keep your eyeballs glued to this site for the coming weeks as we bring you all the awesome things inside. This guy told us that if you don’t come back daily, your computer will self destruct (and he knows computers).
We’ve interviewed Chromeo and the Horrors, and have pointed out all the sweet holiday trends like skinny denim, peacoats, cardigans, and denim on denim. We’ve shot epic fashion shoots inside beach houses and on top of rocky mountains. We’ve also highlighted PacSun’s insanely rad Collaboration Series which features t-shirts designed by musicians like the Plastiscines.
Read on and check back, or get ready to buy a new computer. Your choice.
aStory Numero Duo
September 15th, 2009
Oh my goodness it is here. Is it? Oh my. It is. This is the cover.
Clearly aStory agent 002 is no longer undercover, it’s out and being spied. If you could go under 002’s cover and into its contents, you’d find heated exchanges of words with Datarock and MSTRKRFT, find out how graffiti can subsidize world travel, and how to build your own haunted house for Halloween in a foreclosed McMansion. We’ll also introduce you to some of our pretty friends we shot. But don’t try anything creepy, this isn’t MyFace. (How ’bout that, someone really built a social site called MyFace.)
Now comes the hard part: just sit in front of your computer and these stories and more magic will randomly appear on the screen each time you return to astoryontheweb.com over the next, um, sometime. DO NOT try to find aStory’s goodies on this eloquent New York male model’s website. It won’t work. That’s our secret: we have our own site.

Diggin’ in the milk crates
August 4th, 2009

This thing isn’t sold yet, but it should be. Then you could go to Salvation Army and get some records on the cheap and put it to use. In case you’re curious, it’s a USB record player called Linos. You just plug it into the USB jack; the USB powers it and plays the sounds through your computational device. Most importantly, it looks amazing on a coffee table. You can thank Charles Pyott for all of it. He deserves a piece of pie. You do, too.
My aquarium is bigger than your aquarium

What an adorable toy scuba diver at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. Japan hunts whales and dolphins, but reveres nature with expensive contained oceans like this. It’s all up the yin-yang.
