Better Than Platinum: The Chromeo Interview
November 30th, 2009

“Romeo” seems to be the only word that rhymes with Chromeo. And for good reason. This two-piece R&B-electro outfit, consisting of P Thugg and Dave 1, drums up songs that make you want to dance, and cuddle too. Cafeteria king crowned

If we were going to start at a new school, we’d want to sit next to this guy at lunch. We’d just be like, “Yeah, yeah, yo, yo… Yo… I’m ’bout to freestyle… Yeah, yeah… Yo… Uh huh…” Yeah. It’s about the beat, not the lyrics.

Check out our interview we had with them for our first issue of aStory magazine.

But we’re willing to make exceptions for special cases for those who can shake it like Rye Rye. MIA directed this, eh?

Rap Chop – featuring Vince (Steve Porter’s Slap Chop remix)
We just got really excited about chopping things. This will nest a little spot in our brains and we’ll remember this next time we do some chopping. What is even more awesome is that DJ Steve Porter has asked people to remix this little gem…
