Keep yourself up to date. You don’t want to be the laughing stock of your friends when you’re the only one out of the loop. Also, if you’re the first to know, you might just impress your friends and be well on your way to winning that prom king/queen title you’ve always (kind of) dreamed of; after all, knowledge is power… and power wins prom titles.

The 80’s loved denim on denim; perhaps a little too much. Watch Saved by the Bell. Hold your breath for as long as you see denim on denim on your tv. Well, same goes for coats; they took the ordinary coat and made popular the pea coat–a steezy coat that you can wear with the homies or even at your momma’s dinner party.

Beach houses don’t just scream party: they shout it into giant megaphones broadcasted into humongous speakers which are then projected into even louder speakers. In case you didn’t know, that’s a heck of a lot louder than a scream. (precisely 5 million decibels louder, but hey, who’s counting?) Take a gander at these marvelous photos for proof.

Like sand through an hour glass these are the grains that made it happen
