Zoo York keeps it real. But you most likely already know that. In case you don’t, check out this collaboration with legendary Hip Hop MC Rakim for further proof. And if you just want to up your street cred, click here.NYC’s very own Rakim’s undoubtedly in the top 5 MCs of all time. He’s influenced anybody from Tupac to Jay-Z to 50 Cent; if you tried to account for everyone he’s inspired, you’d probably need the hands and feet of all the people in China for enough fingers and toes to count on. Heck, MTV even ranked Rakim at #4 on their list of ‘The Greatest MCs of All-Time.’
Zoo York, loving all things New York City and hip hop, figured it’d be a good idea to collaborate with Rakim and artist Dean Nicastro. They came up with this skateboard to celebrate the legend’s recently released album, The Seventh Seal. But here’s the icing on the top — every board comes wrapped with a free album. That means you can set the board up, put the album onto your iPod, and cruise the streets with nothing but good tunes and good times.
If you’ve never heard Rakim, check out his new single “Walk These Streets” by watching the video right here.
