11 – Virgin Liberation
What happens when 3 high school kids from LA start a clothing company? A darn cool clothing company with an attitude as fresh and rebellious as their founders, that’s what. In other words, you get Virgin Liberation. We’ve caught up with the founders and have asked them a few questions about the t-shirt they’ve designed. READ ON LOYAL PAWNS!
What does it say above “love & hate” for all those vision impaired like myself?
Lies and Fate
Is there any reason the girl on the right is looking at us? Is it because of my devilish good looks, OR… do I have something in my teeth?
For many of our shirts, we try to grab the viewer’s attention, especially in eye contact.
You guys are young but have a sense for style and design. Are all the kids at school jealous of your skills?
If they aren’t now, they should be… Just kidding. From the start, we got a lot of hate from kids. So in a roundabout way, yeah they were jealous. Or maybe they really did hate us. Haha.
If a kid offered you his lunch money for a t-shirt, what would you say? would you ask for his milk money too?
If he really wanted the tee, we would cut him a deal. We’d also let him keep his milk money too.
What would you say to other kids who want to make clothes?
Go for it! Be aware of haters, but go in strong. We would love to see more kids try out and do what we do. The more talent, the more challenges
How do your parents’ feel about Virgin Liberation? Do they ever rock your clothes?
The parents are supportive 110%. We gave both of our fathers an original print of our tees. They rock it all the time.
What was the inspiration behind this design?
To really reach out to our ladies.
What can we expect to see from you in the future?
More quality pieces for men and women that make you really dig deep and think.
