14 – Eye Alaska
Eye Alaska just released their debut album Genesis Underground, and are gonna be slaying ear drums across America on the PacSun PacTour and tickling auditory systems with PacSun in-store acoustic sets. This shirt was inspired by wolves in sheeps’ clothing. This particular wolf’s name would be Bizaro. Read the full interview.
Phil Collins or Peter Gabriel?
Phil Collins. I love the Tarzan soundtrack.
Werewolves or Vampires?
Vampires are classy. Wolves are rugged. I Like them both.
I noticed those little animals on the back… what’s the deal?
Sheep’s clothing.
Is Gray the new Black?
All I know is Slurpee colors were so 2007.
If wolves could have one magical ability, what would it be?
Mind reading. I always think of wolves as smart animals.
If the wolf had a name, what would it be?
Bizaro
First word that comes to mind to describe the wolf on the shirt… GO!
Real
What can we expect to see from you in the future?
I think with the music industry being on the decline for so long, there’s been an influx of artists playing it safe to stay afloat. I want that to go away. Music hasn’t taken a step forward in years and with the notion of making money from record sales out the window, I think the fakers will be weeded out. “Genesis Underground” is a baby step in the right direction. (we think that means that they’ll keep pushing in the right direction)
What was your inspiration in designing this shirt?
There was this old Disney cartoon from the 1950’s called “Lambert the Sheepish Lion”. He protected the sheep against wolves. I wanted to make a shirt based off the wolves. It’s the concept of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
